Education / Experience

 

1956–58: Youth art courses

1963–65: Teen art courses

1965–67: The Wimbledon School of Art, London

During the 1960s and 1970s worked in Israel and the U.S. as artists' assistant on various projects, including art murals, outdoor sculptures and set design and production for theatre groups.

1971–72: The Art Students’ League, New York

1972–75: Cooper Union School of Art, New York

1978–80: The New School for Social Research, New York

1983–86: Worked as an apprentice at the Israel Museum's art restoration department

1988: Awarded a residency at Cite International Des arts in Paris through the Israeli Foreign/Cultural Affairs ministry.

1988–1993: Lived and painted in Paris, participating in many art activities. Travelled extensively in Europe to see art museums and attend international art events.

1993–2010: Lived and painted in Jerusalem, travelled extensively in Europe, Asia and Africa.

2006–10: Graduate studies, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

2010–present: Lives & paints in Great Falls, Va.
